Jakarta, February 27, 2025 — EMPOW(HER) DAY is an initiative under the SQUEEZE Orange Spirit Movement, created to provide a safe space where survivors of violence can feel heard, valued, and supported. This event aims to empower survivors through a series of curated sessions, including a professionally guided Listening & Hearing Session as well as practical self-development workshops such as Grooming 101 and a Beverage Class presented by SQUEEZE.
Through these activities, EMPOW(HER) DAY serves as a reminder that empowerment is a tangible pathway toward justice, equality, and renewed hope for women.
Squeeze Orange Spirit Vol. 3 Jakarta took place on February 27, 2025, at Panti Sosial Perlindungan Bina Karya Harapan Mulia, with participation from women survivors of violence. The event was designed to not only support healing but also equip participants with skills that encourage confidence, independence, and self-expression.
The event featured several key activities:
-
Self Make-Up Class by Bioaqua Cosmetics
This session introduced a self-makeup workshop led by a professional makeup artist, offering practical tips tailored for the participants. The class aimed to help survivors cultivate greater self-confidence and enhance their personal presentation skills in an empowering and uplifting environment. -
Mixing Class by Celine Akira from Park Hyatt
In this session, Celine presented two smoothie recipes and two soda-based beverage creations using products from SQUEEZE and Stir Up. These recipes—along with SQUEEZE’s broader recipe collection—were shared with the participants at Panti Sosial Bhakti Kasih to support continued learning and creativity in their daily routines. -
Listening & Hearing Session by Aldilla Pradhanti, S.Psi., M.Psi (Libera Insani)
Facilitated by a professional psychologist, this session provided a safe, supportive space for survivors to share experiences, express emotions, and feel genuinely heard. The program also included interactive games and practical tips designed to help participants navigate personal challenges and build emotional resilience.
The implementation of Squeeze Orange Spirit Vol. 3 Jakarta reflects our commitment to creating meaningful, long-term impact. This activity aims to strengthen survivors’ sense of agency, broaden their access to knowledge, and empower them with both emotional and practical tools. Through collaborative efforts like EMPOW(HER) DAY, SQUEEZE continues to advocate for safer spaces, stronger support systems, and brighter futures for women.
